There's something undeniably stunning about maternity photoshoots, especially when they're set against the breathtaking backdrop of Joshua Tree National Park. When you combine the radiant glow of an expectant mother with the warm, golden hues of the desert landscape during golden hour, the result is pure magic!

Courtney reached out to book a maternity session for herself and her daughter, and decided on the Jumbo Rocks area of the national park for the location. I love this area of the national park so much! The image of an expecting mama against the rugged open desert truly displays the beauty of nature and wonder of life.

My favorite element of this shoot is Courtney’s gorgeous floral lace dress! It’s brings the boho vibes, perfect for the desert setting. This dress is available for use in my client closet and I'd love to capture another gorgeous mama-to-be in it!
