Joshua Tree Family Photo Session | The Mallis Family

Centered in the heart of the Mojave Desert, Joshua Tree National Park has such an extraordinary beauty. The twisted trees and rugged rock formations work together to create unique and stunning landscapes. The park truly provides the perfect natural backdrop for a family photo session! I recently had the privilege of capturing the Mallis family at the National Park, and we had the best time together. I’m so excited to share some favorite shots from their gallery!

From the moment I met the Mallis family, I could sense their genuine warmth and love for one another. Their enthusiasm for exploring the desert and creating lasting memories was infectious. As a photographer, it's always a joy to work with families who are not only comfortable in front of the camera but also embrace the joy and fun in every moment. Plus, having a super cute baby always helps! ;)

Joshua Tree National Park is a place of wonder, and we seized the opportunity to capture its most famous features during our session. From the iconic Joshua Trees themselves to the tried and true rock formations, we captured candid moments that celebrated their beautiful family and the surrounding scenery.  

One of the most magical elements of their session was the sun! She really showed up and showed out, casting her beautiful warm golden glow across the desert landscape. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I am a sucker for a sunset!

As an artist, Joshua Tree National Park continues to inspire me with its natural wonders.
