Couples Engagement Session on the Oregon Coast | Debora and Kenji

When you think of a couple in love, what comes to mind? Is it the stolen glances, the endless laughs, or the undeniable connection? Well, I had the opportunity of experiencing all of the above during Debora and Kenji’s breathtakingly beautiful engagement session.

I traveled to a stunning beach along the coast of Oregon to capture the love of these two. As a reminder, I am always down for an adventure and willing to hop on a plane at a moment’s notice. The Oregon coast is known for its dramatic cliffs and foggy beaches. It’s safe to say it did not disappoint! The sound of the crashing waves and the endless stretch of the Pacific ocean created a romantic atmosphere that set the stage for their love story. It was so fun to have a change of scenery from the desert (though, I will always love my desert… see here).

Debora and Kenji’s affection for one another simply radiated throughout our time together. There is no denying how much they love each other. They were constantly laughing and smiling, their eyes locking in moments of pure joy and appreciation. As a documentary-style photographer, one of my primarily goals is to capture these genuine emotions. Debora and Kenji made my job effortless!

What makes this session even more special is that Debora and Kenji have chosen me to be a part of their journey beyond this engagement session. They've recently booked me to capture their wedding in February of 2024. I couldn't be more excited to continue documenting their love story as it unfolds!
